“SLOW Or On The Go” Travel TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

1. Introduction

Welcome to “SLOW Or On The Go” Travel. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services, including safaris, vacations, cruises, events, and other travel-related arrangements. By booking with SLOW or On The Go Travel, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

 

2. Definitions

- “Company" refers to “SLOW Or On The Go” Travel.

- "Client" refers to the person or entity booking or intending to book travel services with the Company.

- “Services" includes, but is not limited to, safaris, vacations, cruises, events, and other travel arrangements provided by the Company.

- "Third-Party Companies" refers to external companies and service providers that the Company uses to arrange and book trips, vacations, cruises, events, and other travel-related services.

 

3. Booking and Payment

3.1 Deposits

A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total booking cost is required to secure your reservation. The deposit amount may vary depending on the specific service and will be communicated at the time of booking.

3.2 Final Payment

The remaining balance must be paid no later than 60 days before the departure or event date. Failure to pay the balance by this deadline may result in the cancellation of the booking and forfeiture of the deposit.

3.3 Late Bookings

For bookings made within 60 days of the departure or event date, full payment is required at the time of booking.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

4.1 Client Cancellations

- More than 60 days before departure or event date: The deposit is non-refundable. Any payments made beyond the deposit will be refunded.

- Less than 60 days before departure or event date: No refunds will be given.

4.2 Company Cancellations

In the unlikely event that the Company has to cancel a booking, the Client will receive a full refund of all payments made, including the deposit. The Company is not liable for any additional costs incurred by the Client due to the cancellation, subject to third party Terms and Conditions.

 

5. Changes to Bookings

5.1 Client-Initiated Changes

Any changes to bookings must be requested in writing. While the Company will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes, we cannot guarantee that all requests will be fulfilled. Additional fees may apply for any changes.

5.2 Company-Initiated Changes

The Company reserves the right to make changes to itineraries, events, accommodations, transport, and other services if necessary. Clients will be informed of such changes as soon as possible. The Company will make efforts to provide equivalent or better alternatives when possible.

 

6. Third-Party Providers

6.1 Third-Party Terms and Conditions

When booking through the Company, Clients may be engaging Third-Party Companies such as cruise operators, safari companies, event organizers, and other service providers. These Third-Party Companies have their own Terms and Conditions, which will apply in addition to the Companie’s Terms and Conditions.

6.2 Liability and Responsibility

The Company acts solely as an agent for Clients in arranging accommodation, transport, and other services provided by Third-Party Companies. The Company is not liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity caused by these Third-Party Companies.

6.3 Payments to Third-Party Providers

If payments are made to Third-Party Companies through the Company and the Third-Party Company fails to deliver the services, the Company cannot retrieve or refund those payments. Clients are encouraged to review and understand the Terms and Conditions of Third-Party Companies before making bookings.

 

7. Travel Insurance

The Company strongly recommends that Clients obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover unforeseen events such as trip cancellations, medical expenses, and loss of personal belongings. The Company is not liable for any costs incurred due to a lack of adequate travel insurance.

 

 8. Passports and Visas

Clients are responsible for ensuring that they have valid passports and appropriate visas for their travel destinations. The Company is not liable for any issues related to passport or visa requirements, including denial of entry or any resulting delays or additional costs.

 

 9. Health and Safety

9.1 Health Requirements

Clients must ensure that they meet the health requirements of their travel destinations. The Company is not responsible for any health issues that may arise during travel, events, or related activities.

9.2 Safety

While the Company takes reasonable precautions to ensure Client safety, it is the Client's responsibility to take appropriate measures for their safety and follow the advice and instructions of guides, staff, and Third-Party Companies.

 

10. Liability

The Company acts only as an agent for Clients in arranging accommodation, transport, events, and other services. The Company does not assume liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity that may occur either due to any defect in any vehicle, equipment, or service or through the acts of any person or company engaged in conveying the Client or in carrying out the arrangements of the tour, event, or otherwise in connection therewith.

 

11. Communication

All communication between the Company and the Client must be in writing. This includes any agreements, requests for changes, cancellations, and complaints. No verbal agreements, commitments, or promises of any kind will be deemed legal and binding unless agreed upon in writing by both parties.

 

12. Complaints

Any complaints must be reported immediately to a representative of the Company during the travel period or event so that we may attempt to resolve the issue. Complaints that cannot be resolved on-site must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the end of the travel period or event.

 

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Florida, USA. Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Florida.

 

14. Amendments

The Company reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Clients are advised to review these Terms and Conditions periodically. Any changes to these Terms and Conditions will be effective immediately upon being posted on our website or communicated to Clients.
